NEW! 2nd Grade Teacher
We are seeking a 2nd Grade Homeroom Teacher to join our team beginning in the 2023-2024 school year! The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and managing a class of lower elementary students using an inquiry-based approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage a class of lower elementary students using an inquiry-based approach and the IB PYP framework.
- Develop and implement a student-centered and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of individual students.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student learning, social-emotional development, and cultural understanding.
- Assess student progress using a variety of assessment strategies and communicate student progress to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student learning and development.
- Participate in school-wide events and initiatives, including staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
- Ohio teaching certification required.
- Experience teaching in a lower elementary classroom preferred.
- Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program framework preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student-centered and inquiry-based learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
